Our bus climbed over a 4000m+ saddle with Mt Victoria looming above. Descending over the other side were hit by thick jungle mist and switchbacks stacked upon each other. The mist obscured our view over the edge... a good thing! After a ten hour day (JV has still not had a proper sleep) our final stage ended on the banks of the Sacsara River. Our friend Gian Marco Vellutino runs Peru´s only zip-line canopy tour here and his camp has become our home. |
