SVALBARD以，前被称作SPITSBERGEN群岛，位于北冰洋，处于挪威和北极的中间。该群岛归属挪威，由所有北纬74度到81度，东经10度到35度的群岛组成。

明天我会从SVALBARD的港口登上一艘叫akademik loffe的船，开始我在北极给QUARK EXPEDITIONS的导游工作。

溪水，隔离的小岛还有高山这个大杂烩，还有底部的森林整个让PAUCARTAMBO旅行变得很有纪念意义。

Upper Apurimac, Salkanatay with kayaks and the second full descent of Peru´s Rio Santa Teresa!

In 2003 along with a good team of kiwi mates we kayaked, climbed and worked in Bolivia and Peru. This trip marks a return to the Andes and a 4 week kayaking expedition.

Our bus climbed over a 4000m+ saddle with Mt Victoria looming above. Descending over the other side were hit by thick jungle mist and switchbacks stacked upon each other. The mist obscured our view over the edge... a good thing!

Our first few days have gone well. We are living in paradise! Its been great to hit the ground running with time spent descending some of the local runs.
