In July 2021, at a gathering of the McKean clan, we celebrated significant milestones with the launch of two new wines in tribute to our parents (and grandparents) - Bill and Sally McKean.
Our Tiki HARIATA Methode Traditionnelle was launched in tribute to Mum, under her given name. A pillar of strength, a well of love and an inspiration throughout our lives, as kids we couldn't have wished for a better mum. She has also been integral to us in developing Tiki Wines into what it is today - her knowledge, wisdom and advice always welcomed.
In tribute to our Dad, William John McKean, our Tiki WJM Pinot Noir really is a beautiful wine. Instilled in us from childhood by our Dad - how to be honourable and respectful, to have the strength to question what we don’t believe in, and to stand our ground for what we do.
It really was a special time to come together - those family members over in Australia and unable to join us were 'zoomed in' electronically for the celebration.
