In the South Island's Fiordland National Park, the Milford Track has always been on our 'to do' list. A chance to spend time with our two girls, we joined family friends and headed off for a four day, three night trek into one of New Zealand's most renowned bush walks.
In just a few words, it is absolutely unbelievably beautiful. We can see why people fly from all around the world to do it. Walking over the topmost point and down the other side, along what was a walk of waterfalls, really was breathtaking. It's more than a bush walk, it truly is one of New Zealand's very special places and we couldn't recommend it more.
