Pristine and inviting, the bouquet shows sweet strawberry, Gala apple, lemon peel and floral nuances, leading to a finely flowing palate that's juicy and lively. Beautifully composed and expressed, offering charming drinking.

Tasting note
Colour: a lovely coral pink.
Nose and palate: strawberry, raspberry, creaming soda, watermelon and spicy cherry dominate the nose and palate. Mouthwatering and juicy, with a lovely freshness and a dry finish that invites another glass.

Winemaking
The fruit was harvested at optimum flavour, assessed through frequent tasting in the vineyard by the winemaker. Picked in the cool of the morning, it was quickly pressed to minimise colour pick-up. The juice was cold settled, then fermented at low temperatures to preserve the red berry aromatics. The wine was fermented to almost dryness, then stopped and left on lees for three weeks to build texture on the palate. At blending, a small portion of Pinot Gris was added to the Pinot Noir, giving a lovely floral lift. Bottled in November.
