Tasting note
Colour: a delicate, pale green gold.
Nose and palate: citrus, passionfruit and blackcurrant sitting alongside a smooth, creamy textured palate with a long, vibrant finish.

Vintage conditions
2025 was a favourable vintage for North Canterbury, starting with an early bud burst and flowering. Sunshine was above average right through to Christmas, suggesting a very early vintage was looming. Fruit set was largely in line with target yields. From the beginning of January temperatures cooled and the region had prolonged cloud cover and some rain, which brought the season back into balance and delayed the harvest start slightly. Despite some heavy rain during March, harvest began in mid March and finished around 20 April. The early warmth followed by a cooler summer let the fruit ripen fully and be picked at optimum flavour.
