Barrel-fermented Chardonnay from our Single Vineyard home estate in North Canterbury. Hand-picked block by block, wild fermented in French oak and aged for 11 months. Sold by the six-pack.
In the glass
Pale straw green. Stone fruit and nectarine on the nose, with biscuity, toasty oak, nougat and grilled nuts that carry through onto the palate. Rich and textural, with layers of flavour and a long, intense finish.
At the table
Made for richer dishes. Roast chicken or pork, crayfish with butter, a creamy mushroom risotto, or a wedge of aged cheddar. Serve it cool rather than cold, around 12°C, so the texture comes through.

What the critics said
Gold, Yvonne Lorkin, Dish magazine, 2026
93 points, 5 stars, Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, April 2026
"It's splendidly expressed on the nose, showing golden peach, mango, vanilla, and fine oak aromas. The palate is equally appealing with succulent fruit flavours, a fleshy texture, and beautifully pitched acidity, making it harmonious and delectably appealing."
18.5/20 (93 points), Candice Chow for Raymond Chan Wine Reviews, July 2026
