COLOUR: Intensely and brightly coloured wine with a ruby red hue.

NOSE: Ruby red in colour the wine has a bright cherry nose supported by complex red and dark fruits, spiced cherry, cedar, mushroom and floral characters on the nose.

PALATE: The palate highlights bitter chocolate, cherry and cinnamon spice notes supported by fine acidity and a flowing finish. Nicely balanced and drinking beautifully.

VINEYARD REGION: 100% Waipara Valley, North Canterbury

WINEMAKING: The fruit was harvested in excellent condition and gently handled in the cellar using traditional burgundian methods. Aged for 12 months in French oak barriques, it is deliciously fruited and seductively complex, showing dark plum, spiced cherry, cedar, mushroom and floral characters on the nose.

GRAPE VARIETY: 100% Pinot Noir

MATURATION: 100% French Oak Barrels.

Acidity (TA): 5.3 g/L
Residual Sugar: 4.01 g/L

PEAK DRINKING: 2022/25 – will continue to develop for a further 5 years.
